Meet Peyton Morrison! Peyton is involved in the Theater department at North Hall High School and in the graduating class of 2023. She enjoys reading and drawing, digitally or traditionally. Peyton also enjoys doing detective work whether it be a boxed set or an ARG (an alternate reality game). When asked who inspires her, Peyton said that her family is the best. “My mom, Amy Morrison,  shows me to be kind and my dad, Jeffery Morrison,  shows me to be productive and think outside the box. He’s the Chief of Data Analytics at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. My grandma, Judi Peterson, shows me it’s ok to show the child inside you, and of course, my twin, Wren Morrison, gives me a new look on life.”

We are thankful that Peyton took the time out of her day to share with us.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

A: “Tate Padgett, he’s a student here at North Hall and he’s just so funny and he just brings a light into the honors theater class 6th period.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: “I would say Paris because my mom has been there before and I just really want to see the sights and try the food.”

Q: What advice would you want to give or leave with people?

A: “Just listen to each other, communicate. I feel like communication is something we lack. And just be kind to each other. In elementary school when they said ‘If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!’ They were right.”

Q: If you could choose anyone alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?

A: “I would say Hilde Lysiak. She is an amazing young journalist that started at a very young age and solved a murder at a very young age. It’s very interesting how someone so young could see the world in that way. I would love to interview her and see where she is today.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: “I see myself doing what I love, I don’t know what that may be, but just something I enjoy. Maybe helping people, in theater, or cooking.”

Q: What’s your go-to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

A: “Girl in Red. Amazing music, great songs. And probably just any music that I’m open to listening to.”
