Meet “Pork Chop,” also known as Ronny Hulsey.
When Ronny was a child, he and his grandfather would work on their family farm on Hubert Stephens and then eat at Reid’s Cafe in Murrayville. He still visits Reid’s, and was given the name “Pork Chop” due to his frequently eating his favorite item on the menu. A self proclaimed “biscuit connoisseur,” he also frequently visits Longstreet Cafe and Rabbittown cafe. He enjoys taking his wife Emily to Scott’s for a date night. Emily is the media clerk at Mount Vernon Exploratory school, where their two daughters attend.
Ronny is a 2005 graduate of North Hall High School. While at North Hall, he played basketball and then continued to play in college. Ronny still has the men’s all time scoring record at North Hall. He and partner Rustin Smith founded Smith Hulsey Law in 2019. From a blue collar family, Ronny was the first to graduate from college in his family, and was the 2nd in his class from Mercer Law. Smith Hulsey Law bought the Miller Banks house located on Green Street. When they began their firm, they had 12 cases. Now they have over 350 active cases.
The Marketing Classes at North Hall High School would like to thank Ronny for stopping by and spending time with us.
