Meet Aidan Slater. Aidan is dual enrolled at both Lanier Tech and Brenau, and takes Economics and Political Science classes. He also takes AP classes at North Hall. In his free time, he enjoys building and flying drones. Aidan is interested in becoming an engineer and is in the graduating class of 2024.
We would like to thank Aidan for sharing a little bit about himself.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Kinda far away but the Copperpot is pretty good”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Somewhere North, I like the cold”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “Bullet train was a really good movie or any of the Tarantino movies.”
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?
A: “Jimi Hendrix’s son because his dad revolutionized music. We would meet in a diner of his time.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Hopefully graduated college and working in some flavor of engineering.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Kind of basic, but skydiving.”
Q: Favorite month? Favorite Holiday? And best single day on the calendar?
A: “Favorite month is February because of the weather. My favorite holidays are split between Christmas and Thanksgiving. My favorite single day of the year is May the 4th because I’m a Star Wars nerd.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “I would rate Greek food a 10 out of 10”
Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
A: “Cedar”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My dad, Lamar, because he has a pretty interesting job.He is an Engineer for Makita”

A: “Community, pride, and growth”
