Meet Fatima Castrejon! Fatima is a North Hall student and has lived in Georgia her whole life. Upon graduation, she plans to attend college and pursue a degree in Marketing or Communications. She is also interested in history and architecture. She is very involved in extracurricular activities. Fatima is the middle child of three, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

We enjoyed spending time with Fatima and learning more about her interests!

Q: Tell me about yourself.

A: “My name is Fatima and I do cross country and track, and I’m a part of  FCA and Key club.”

 

Q: What is your favorite sport or activity to watch or attend at North Hall?

A: “I enjoy watching Long Jump and 4X1. I enjoy seeing people strive and working to achieve their full potential.”

 

Q: What is your favorite thing about North Hall?

A: “I like the community that we have. Everyone knows everyone and there is a sense of connection. You never feel left out.”

 

Q: Who is your favorite teacher or faculty member at North Hall?

A: “Coach Montesinos. He is always energetic in class and makes you interested. He doesn’t just care about you as a student, but also as a person.”

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

A: “I have two siblings, Evolet who is seven years old, and Marvin who is 25. Evolet is in second grade at Riverbend and likes every sport, she is very active. Marvin has always been a role model and father figure for me because I grew up without a dad. He always has been there for me.”

 

Q: Did any of your family members attend  North Hall?

A: “My brother Marvin was in the class 2015.”

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: “Grey’s Anatomy. I also like Friends and Two and a Half Men.”

 

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

A: “Traveling the world. I want to explore the history of all of the countries. So much history has been lost throughout the generations. I would go to Europe first”

 

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?

A: “Going to Mexico. My Grandparents and a few of my Aunts and Uncles live in Mexico. I like going to church there. The architecture in the churches is beautiful there and that fascinates me.”

 

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: “My brother, Marvin. He pushes me to work harder and always wants me to be the best form of myself that I can be.”
