Meet Holly Alewine! Mrs. Alewine teaches all of the Marketing classes here and is the creator of The Faces of North Hall High School.  She is a graduate of North Hall and loves our school. When not teaching Marketing, you will find her with her family or planning a trip.

Q: Are you a North Hall Alumni? If so, what year did you graduate?

A: “Yes, class of 2003”

Q: What are you involved in at North Hall?

A: “I teach all of the Marketing classes, am the DECA Advisor, and oversee operations of both school stores: The Trojan Trader & Trojan Prints”

Q: What is your favorite tradition at North Hall?

A: “I love the homecoming parade. When I was a senior here, we built a huge toilet on our float and said that we were going to flush the other team.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about North Hall?

A: “It is a community school- the community is so supportive and involved.  The traditions are great and the school spirit is strong. I also love that I park next to a pasture full of cows and donkeys.”

Q: Please tell us about your career. What do you love most about what you do?
A: “I love teaching because I love building relationships with others. Too often we hide behind our screens. There are so many interesting and talented individuals who walk into my classroom every day and it’s fun to get to know each of my students. High schoolers get a bad rap sometimes but I think they’re the greatest. My students are creative, funny, and have so many talents to share with our community and world.”

Q: What are some of your hobbies and interests?

A: “I love spending time with my children. I’m frequently at a field watching Evan play baseball or taking Olivia for a girl’s day. I also really love traveling. I’m always down for a last minute trip.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

A: “I want to get in a plane and fly west, until I’ve gone all the way around the globe. I lived and worked in Costa Rica for a couple of years and helped to start a non-profit organization there. It is called Seeds of Hope, International. We have a lot of locations now, and I want to visit all of them.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “A personal relationship with Jesus.”

Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of NHHS?
A: “Green, silver, and white”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

A: “Right here, living in North Hall and working at North Hall High School.”
