Meet Morgan Conner! Morgan is the Agriculture teacher and FFA advisor at North Hall High School. She and her family live on their farm a few miles north of the school. Married to Austin, who is a Diesel Mechanic in town, Morgan has two sweet kiddos – Grant, a dino loving 4 year old and Lane, a sweet and chunky 11 month old.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: “I have a legit husband who supports my crazy ideas. Our children are the sweetest and are the tiniest FFA members.”
Q: Please tell us about your career. What do you love most about what you do?
A: “I love what I do. It’s exhausting and chaotic, but I love teaching kids about agriculture, but most importantly I love watching them grow as humans.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
A: “All of my life – I went to Mt. Vernon, North Hall Middle, and graduated from North Hall High School.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “I love Ted Lasso.”
Q: What advice would you give to people?
A: “Feel all the emotions – the good and the bad – feel ’em all.”
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
A: “Reid’s Cafe’! I remember getting breakfast there with my friends on Friday mornings while I was in high school. Then, when I would come home from UGA, I would eat there with my family on Saturday mornings. Every Friday morning, I would grab a biscuit and Mr. Pibb on the way to the middle school!”
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique you love about our community?
A: “I just love how everyone rallies together and helps one another out.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Teaching agriculture at North Hall High and seeing all my former students be successful.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Mr. Pibb and a grape jelly biscuit.”

A: “Legacy – Tradition – Home.”
