Meet Jennifer Henman! Mrs. Henman is a history teacher at North Hall and a part of the North Hall High School graduating class of 2003. This is her first full year of teaching at North Hall High School. She was a substitute teacher for a couple of years before she came to teach full-time here. She has been married for 13 years, and her husband works for NGHS in Lumpkin. Her two children attend Mount Vernon.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in our community?

A: “Longstreet.”

 

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

A: “I was born here, I’ve lived here my whole life.”

 

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

A: “One of my old High School teachers, Coach Bowers.”

 

Q: What advice would you give or leave with people?

A: “Just to do your best in life.”

 

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

A: “A former business was Penny University Cafe Shop.

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: “Just where it is located just right, by the lake and right at the base of the mountains.”

 

Q: What is your go-to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

A: “Maverick City.”

 

Q: Who inspires you to do better?

A: “My parents always told me to do my best.”
