Meet Paul Johnson! Mr. Johnson is an engineering teacher at North Hall High School. He teaches many of the STEM students and the students interested in creating or inventing. He has taught at North Hall for over 10 years and made many great connections with students and memories at North Hall.

Q: Tell us a bit about your family:
A: “I have a wonderful wife of over 20 years and 2 daughters. One is in college and the other is 13 and attends North Hall.”
Q: Tell us about your career and what you love about it:
A: “I teach engineering at North Hall High School and I like talking to and creating good relationships with students. I also like helping coach track.”
Q: How long have you lived in our community:
A: “ I have grown up here and lived here for most of my life.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies and TV shows:
A: “My favorite movie is Tombstone and my favorite TV show is the Goldberg’s because it reminds me of my own childhood.”
Q: What advice would you give people:
A: “That college is not the only way to success. That trade school is not a bad thing and can get you a good career. Do what you love and find a way to make money with it.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years:
A: “Hopefully I’m still teaching but if I retired I would like to start my own business of flipping houses.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list:
A: “To go to Austria, New Zealand, and Japan with my family.”
Q: What is something you have been proud to check off your bucket list:
A: “I worked on a race team and got to travel the world for free.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better:
A: “My wife.”
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have been to:
A: “Northern California because the weather is always perfect and beautiful sights.”

A: “My relationship with my wife.”

A: “I think community and loyalty and commitment to the school come to mind.”
