Meet Brett Farkas. Mr. Farkas is a Biology teacher here at North Hall High School. He is the Robotics coach for the Robotics club, and has made contributions to several different fields. He did DNA research for the CDC, he wrote an epic poem, he made contributions to computer programming by creating the world’s first voice recognition adventure game, he won a video game tournament when he was in 8th grade, and made a YouTube video that got 8.4 million views. Mr. Farkas loves being a Biology teacher and a Robotics coach because he loves to see his students succeed. Brett Farkas has been in the North Hall Community since the age of two and enjoys classical music.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

A: “Longstreet Cafe. I was the first North Hall student to start eating there when they opened in 1997.”

 

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

A: “Favorite movie is Shakespeare in Love and TV show is Lost.”

 

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

A: “It has a great sense of togetherness in the North Hall community.”

 

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

A: “To have more artistic projects lined up to be able to complete in my lifetime.”

 

Q:  What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?

A: “My family used to have a home on Dog Island, Florida. And there were some really beautiful days there.” 

 

Q: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?

A: “Chris Pratt” 

 

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

 A: “My family”

 

Q: Did any of your family attend North Hall?

A: “My younger sister”

A: “Accomplishment, Community, Integrity”
