Joshua Montesinos is a wrestling coach and a US History teacher at North Hall High School. This is his first year with us at North Hall. He is very outgoing, accommodating, and he has a very fun personality. He is always willing to guide his students. He has a wife and one little boy, and he enjoys mountains and nature.
We were so glad to have the opportunity to spend time with him and learn some of his interests!
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “I don’t typically eat out, but my wife likes Bluefin, El Tepache, and my favorite is Danny’s Donuts.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
A: “I’ve lived in the Trojan nation for six years.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you have met here in our community?
A: “Braden Watson”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I want to go to Iceland, Patagonia, and Chile. I love mountains and I think that Iceland is awesome and it’s geologically incredible, volcanoes and stuff we don’t have. Same thing for Patagonia, its rugged expansive nature.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies?
A: “Favorite movie, The Goonies. The Goonies is awesome.”
Q: What advice would you want to give or leave with people?
A: “Look people in the eyes, express gratitude, and say thank you.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Certain navigation! Antarctica, that’s gonna be a big one. I would like to surf the tip of South Africa.”
Q: And, what is something you have been proud to check off of your bucket list?
A: “All American wrestling”
