Meet Sally Smith! Sally is a retired educator after 30 years of teaching! She spent 1 year at Lyman Hall Elementary, 16 years at Riverbend Elementary, and 13 years at NHMS. She is currently serving year 30 at North Hall High School under the CARES ACT position which involves working with the graduation coach and the counseling office. Sally and her husband Randy have been very involved in the North Hall community for years. Sally is cheerful, loving, and is constantly encouraging students to do their best.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants or shops in our community?
A: “A few of my favorite restaurants are Texas Roadhouse, Longstreet Cafe, Burger N Shake, Dari Spot and Chick-fil-A.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “My dream vacation is to go to Hawaii because I want to see the landscapes and heritage of the people.”
Q: What advice would you give to people?
A: “My advice that I would give people is to wake up every morning blessed. Challenge yourself to be successful on any given day and don’t give up. You have worth and remind yourself of that everyday.”
Q: Did any of your family members attend North Hall?
A: “My husband Randy attended North Hall and graduated in 1985, my daughter Katie graduated in 2011 from North Hall. She is married to Trey Pinson who graduated from North Hall in 2009. My sons Andrew and Ty both graduated from North Hall, Andrew in 2014 and Ty in 2020.”
Q: What are some of your hobbies and interest?
A: “I love to read and shop. My favorite hobby is to take naps. I also love to watch my students at athletic events.”
Q: What is your favorite sport or activity to watch or attend at North Hall?
A: “There is a tie between Friday night football, basketball and baseball. I love watching all of the kids compete and perform.”
