Q: Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?
A: “My favorite part of the teaching side is when I see kids make it out of my hands, and go on to college and pursue any kind of medical field. They come back and tell me that all the hard work I put them through, they would explain it as suffering but they saw the benefits of all the work they put in.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
A: “I was born and raised in Gainesville, GA, except for the four years I went to college. I have worked in Gainesville professionally for about eleven years as an athletic trainer. This will be my fifth year as a teacher.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: “Definitely the Gunner twins, hands down.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies?
A: “My favorite movie series is Star Wars.”
Q: What advice would you want to give or leave with people?
A: “Hard work pays off.”
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community? And secondly, what is something you hope our community has or does in the future?
A: “My favorite thing about the community is how involved it is. I love seeing everyone coming in and going over the top for the school and for all the kids at the school and seeing what they do for the kids. You don’t see that very often, I’ve been in many different school systems and this one is very unique in that way. One thing I would like to see in the future is that the community gets stronger.”
Q: What is your go-to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
A: “The original Shine Down or 3 Doors Down.”
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: “It would have to be between St Lucia Islands or Yellowstone National Park.”
Q: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
A: “Whoever the big super action hero star is, like Dwayne The Rock Johnson.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “Students, when there’s a problem and I can’t solve the very next thing I do after I can’t figure it out, I go figure it out.”
Q: Did any of your family attend North Hall?
A: “My aunt and my cousins.”
Q: What are 3 words or phrases that you think of when you hear North Hall High School?”
A: “ Community, hard work, and service.”
