Meet Coach Hargis, a history teacher at North Hall High school and the Head Track Coach. Coach Hargis loves spending time with his students and teaching them all the amazing things in history. After school, he likes to go home and spend time with his family. God is someone who inspires him to do better and teach the students of our generation. He starts each class with a joke and loves cheering up his students- even if we don’t get his jokes. He’s funny, smart, and can make a boring lesson interesting.

Q: Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?
A: “I love when there is that ‘oh wow!’ The moment a kid who has suddenly realized something in history.”
Q: What Is your favorite type of food to eat?
A: “Mexican food. ”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in the community?
A: “This makes it 14 years.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
A: “As an adult, I would say Caroll Daniels.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would go to Greece because I want to see all the fascinating things they have there.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies or TV shows?
A: “I am a Star Trek fan.”
Q: What advice would you want to give or leave people?
A: “Always do your best.”
Q: Favorite month? Favorite Holiday?
A: “I like Christmas most and December is my favorite month because of the time off.”
Q: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
A: “Tom Hanks.”
