Meet Haley Reed, the current DECA President. Haley is also involved in showing dairy heifers through FFA. Haley loves older country music and looks up to her Mother as her mentor because she has always inspired her to be successful. Haley is fun, outgoing, and friendly.

Q. What are you involved in at NHHS?
A. “Haley is the President of DECA and is involved in FFA, which stands for Future Farmers of America.”
Q. What is your Favorite Type of Movie/TV Show?
A. “Hallmark Christmas movies”
Q. What Hobbies do you currently have?
A. “Cow Showing and competitions through DECA ”.
Q. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
A. “I would head west to go sightseeing and visit Fort Worth Stock Yard in Texas.”
Q. What advice would you want to give or leave with people?
A. “Be yourself, no matter what. I struggle with trying to be like everyone else except myself but when I am myself I feel more confident and better than when I am trying to pretend I’m someone else.”
Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A. “I see myself in college studying marketing and after graduating hopefully pursuing my love in agriculture and marketing, possibly owning my own business. Then buying my own home and starting a family ”
Q. What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A. “Me and my family go to Pueblo’s once a week and even though it’s not really in our community I love Kani House.”
Q. Favorite month? Favorite Holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A. “My favorite month is November because it’s still fall but everyone is preparing for Christmas and the weather is nice.. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and my Birthday is probably the best single day in the year”
