Meet Natalie Donatelli. Natalie is from a healthcare family and she now works in the healthcare field. She is a North Hall graduate whose life experiences are inspiring to learn about, from being a patient care technician to a full-on nurse. Natalie has done amazing work for so many people and her own family of five.

The Faces of North Hall High School would like to thank Natalie for her time!

Q: Tell us about your current career.

A: “So I have worked in several different areas at the hospital. I started a patient care tech., at that point you’re checking vital signs and taking patients back and forth to the bathroom and those types of things. And I have been a nurse now for twenty years, I started out working on the cardiac floor, I did hospice care, and currently, I am Assistant Nurse Manager for three different departments. Those departments are a virtual monitoring unit, the vascular access (the I.V. team), and the rapid response team for North East Georgia Medical Center. I have over 60 employees in those departments.”

Q: What year did you graduate from North Hall?

A: “Class of 2000.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about the North Hall community?

A: “The people and community. Just growing up in this community, my life has been so supported and it has been amazing. I was diagnosed with cancer five years ago, and just the warmth and the love of this community came together from just having a t-shirt from the football team to just all the care that has come in. You can just always find love in this community.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

A: “I would say, my family. My husband has always encouraged me and I would have never seen myself in leadership, but he encouraged me to do something that might be challenging. My family just encourages me to be a better patient and just be the best that I can be.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in the community?

A: “Definitely the Biscuit Barn. Before we moved to Clermont, as soon as the kids started kindergarten, we would take them there every Friday, but now since we live in Clermont we don’t go as often. Also Señor Fiesta, that’s a good one.
