Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: “I am the Bookkeeper at North Hall High School. I have been married to my husband Cory for 27 years. We have three children, Cole (24), Macy (21) and Emma (15). Cole and Macy both graduated from North Hall High School and were very involved in school sports and activities. Emma is currently a Freshman at NHHS and is a varsity spirit cheerleader. My husband also graduated from NHHS. He now owns Cory Clark Electric in Clermont, GA and loves to support our students and school in any aspect he possibly can. We attend Shoal Creek Baptist church in Cleveland, GA where we are very involved.
I started working with Hall County Schools at the Bus Shop in the fall of 1998 as a secretary. After a year there, I was given the opportunity to come to North Hall High School to fill the Data Entry position. I took the position to be closer home and have more time with our son. In 2007, our 3rd child, Emma was born and was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. In 2008, I needed to make some changes in my work schedule to meet Emma’s needs. So I transferred to the Central Office and worked part-time in the Special Education Department while Emma attended Challenged Child and Friends. When Emma started kindergarten at Mount Vernon Elementary, I transferred to the IT Department at Central Office back to a full-time position. Then in January of 2018, I got the opportunity to come back “home” and work as the Bookkeeper at North Hall High at which I jumped at. I love my job and the people here North Hall High.
